A separate bibliography must be submitted showing you used at least three sources, one internet database, one book, and one periodical (magazine/almanac). Time frame: two periods, one for actual research and one to finish producing one of the following: (May be digital or not.)
1.) Write a short biography on a famous person from Uruguay listed in your text on p. 96. Additional names are as follows: Pedro Figari, Jose Batlle, Julio Maria Sanguinetti Cairolo, Florencio Sanchez, Mauricio Rosencof, Carlos Gonzales, Juana de Ibarbourou (Juana de America), Juan Carlos Onetti, etc. Use library resources and the Internet to research information. List the persons achievements and contributions. If possible, include a picture. Draw or design a monument and or museum display (2-D or 3-D) that would be appropriate for the person of your choice. You may be creative in your design. Include 10 facts at a minimum.
2.) Create a travel brochure for Uruguay. Use library sources or the Internet to research information about Uruguay. The guide must include general background information about the country, places of interest, and activities for visitors. You may be creative in your design of the brochure. Include 10 facts at a minimum.
3.) Make a poster, broadside, advertisement, etc. encouraging attendance at an event (soccer, festival, etc.). A minimum of five facts must be included.
