CONTENT INFORMATION
In order to learn about the Renaissance era, its accomplishments, and affect on our lives, seventh grade students will research various topics and create a “magazine” that tells about this time in history. This Pathfinder includes websites and library print and video materials that students and teachers can use as resources. Dewey numbers include, 700’s (art of the Renaissance), 940.2 (general information about history of Europe), 823 (the literature of Shakespeare), 910 and 914 (geography), and a few books of fiction and biography. World history timelines in 909 are also helpful. Students will also need to find quotes ( 080). Subject headings include, Renaissance; Renaissance architecture; Renaissance art; Fifteenth century; Shakespeare, William; Sixteenth century; Reformation; Exploration; Art.
