Brief Summery of the Pathfinder
This pathfinder has been created with a month-long unit of study in mind. Students and teachers will be exploring spring in the Centerville/Ohio community b from their backyard observations to regional observations. The list of resources guides the teachers with exact and previewed literature, childrenbs examples of poetry and excellent web resources that will give a broad range of information on spring in our area of Ohio.
Dewey Numbers
The 500 Dewey classification was chosen for this study, as it provides books on spring and the many birds, animals, plants and trees that children will be observing and learning about prior to their poetry writing.
