| Use
the online catalog to search for books at all three branches.
You can even reserve books over the web with your Mentor
Library Card. Try limiting your searches to the Main
childrenbs department, to start, for materials that are on
your reading level. Expand your search, as
needed. |
| Morley
Public Library in Painesville, Ohio |
Another
great, nearby source of books and materials. You will
need to acquire a Painesville library card, but donbt
worry, it's free. Anyone residing in the State of Ohio
is eligible to receive a library card at no charge. Simply
present a picture ID to a clerk at the Circulation Desk,
located just inside the library's front door. Children
under the age of 12 must have a parent or legal guardian
accompany them and sign for the card.

Log-on and Password) Select K-6 and then try a few of these
databases. - Encyclopedia Britannica - a great source of
information. - SIRS Discoverer - will help you to locate
articles on your reading level. - American National
Biography. - Please note that all the articles originally
included in the ANB Online were on biographical subjects who
died before the end of 1995. Articles on important figures who
have died since 1995 are being added in quarterly updates, but
coverage of people in this category is not yet complete. If
you cannot find an article on a subject, he or she may have
died after 1995, or may be living.
