Brief
Summery of the Topic/Pathfinder: This pathfinder outlines
the resources available for use with this unit of study. The
resources have been chosen to introduce the idea of personal
connections to our learning, as well as provide the learner
with the process of gathering information in various formats
to support the learning quest. The reading and interest levels
of these resources have been chosen to meet the needs of the
range of all fourth graders. Dewey Numbers The Dewey
categories used include the 553.7bs with information about
water in our environments, poetry that expands the study from
Deweybs 811 section and the 973 Dewey area, which provides
the historical state information about Massachusetts. I
have chosen to use easy fiction in this study as
well. Subject Headings Used: Massachusetts, Water,
Reservoirs, Environment
