Brief Summary of the Topic/Pathfinder: Students will be partnered with someone in their class to create a 10 minute 18-20 slide PowerPoint presentation about someone mentioned in their Government textbook. Note: All requirements for this project are described elsewhere in this document.

                  A Powerpoint Presentation

                  100 Total Points

 

                  1. Must work with your assigned partner.

                  2. Must have a minimum of 18 slides or a maximum of 20 slides

                  about your person.

                  3. Slides must be pictures with sound/music effects only. No

                  text except creating partner's initials.

                  4. You may choose anyone mentioned in your Government

                  textbook. Only one partnership per person per period.

                  5. Each person is responsible for at least 9 slides.

                  6. You must have a minimum of 10 3x5 note cards giving your

                  brief biography of your chosen person, which will be your

                  narration during your presentation.

                  7. Biography must cover their early life, education,

                  accomplishments, and where they are now.

                  8. Biography must be paraphrased when presenting, and must

                  reflect what is showing on your slide.

                  9. The full presentation must be 10 minutes long.

                  10.You must physically change the slides using the mouse or

                  the enter key.

                  11.You must have at least 12 different transitions and some

                  music.

                  12.Each person in the partnership must be present during

                  presentation.
