Family and Consumer Science

Global Cuisine is a new 12-week elective.

 

This pathfinder directs students to multicultural materials, cookbooks with an international emphasis, music from different cultures, and websites that cover recipes as well as cultural aspects of other countries.

The Dewey numbers range from all the way from 395 to 968.

Multicultural Calendar

KIDLINK students and KIDLEADERS created the MCC (Multicultural Calendar) to share the unique ways kids celebrate their country's holidays and festivals.  The entries might contain recipes for holiday foods, historical background, significance of the holidays and the special ways in which these days are observed.
