Action Plan: Fairy Tale Variations
For Third Grade
Curriculum Area: Language Arts
Specific Topic: Lon Po Po: A Red-Riding Hood Story from
Share different variations or versions of several fairy
tales. Students after listening will
compare and contrast the versions with the original version that they
know. Students will also write their own
variant of a fairy tale to share with their class.
