The American Presidency

May, 2004

The President of the United States is now, some say, the most powerful person in the world.  How has the American presidency evolved?  What does the President do?  What issues should be considered when choosing a president or reflecting on the work of those that have gone before? Which presidential decisions most affected the course of history of our country?  Find the answers to these and other questions with the help of this pathfinder.
