Lesson Summary:

After Mrs. Yuko, the school librarian, has presented her lessons on the school library as a resource for researching Science Fair topics, I will introduce INFOhio as the preferred database for further research.  Concentration will be on ACCESScience and EBSCOhost. Secondarily we will use Britannica online School edition. Using the computer lab Smart Board, the class, as a whole, will receive an introductory group lesson.  The 7 class computers will be linked to INFOhio after the initial lesson so students may work independently on their individual topic search.

6.   Remember to fill out your worksheet and print your final two choices for articles and place them in your folder.

7.   Sample questions: What is your topic? What keywords will you use to locate articles related to your topic? Have you paired with your partner to find common articles? What additional keywords can narrow your search? Have you book marked sites of interest? Have you printed out your final articles?
