Lesson Summary:

 

Students will present their completed organizers to the class.

Pre-Assessment:

 

As a discussion, ask students what makes a good presentation.  Make sure students mention things like eye contact, loud clear voice, standing straight no rocking.

 

Scoring Guidelines:

No scoring for the pre-assessment.

 

Post-Assessment:

 

Following the rubric, assess students’ projects.

Instructional Procedures:

 

  1. After opening discussion of helpful hints for good presentations, have students begin presenting their posters.  Do the presenting on a volunteer basis to start.
  2. Provide students who have presented with complements about their work.
  3. Grade using the rubric.
