Teacher Education Faculty and Library Collaboration Projects
Grants were awarded to 13 higher education institutions in Ohio. The purpose of the grant project was to find the development and integration of information literacy instruction initiatives within the university curricula for teacher education and to encourage ongoing collaboration between librarians and the education faculty. The goal is to address the development of information literacy skills in teacher education students so that they can be successful users of the professional literature and subsequently instill those skills in the students they teach.There are two tracks for the grant focus.
