Will Richardson is a leading advocate for the use of Weblogs, RSS and related Internet technologies in schools. He is a veteran classroom teacher who has integrated the Internet into his practice for more than 10 years and has been using Weblogs for over three years. In various Weblog projects, his students have collaborated with best selling authors, Pulitzer Prize winning journalists, and with students in classrooms from around the world. His own Weblog at http://www.weblogg-ed.com has been featured in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Syllabus and others, and it is a primary resource for the creation and implementation of Weblog technologies on the K-12 level. His articles have appeared in "English Journal" and "Principal Leadership," among others, and he has presented about Weblogs and RSS at national conventions such as the Journalism Education Association 2002, ASCD 2003, NECC 2004 and many others. He is also a featured blogger at eSchoolNews's Ed Tech Insider. His book titled, "An Educator's Guide to Weblogs, Wikis, Podcasts and Other Cool Web Tools that are Transforming the Classroom" is coming out from Corwin Press in early 2006.
