Research Project Requirements:
|
|
|
Literature |
You will select a literary work or compilation from the cultural area of your interest. (You may no do any American Literature). I.e. King Arthur Legends Shakespeare play (Julius Caesar, As You Like
It) Additional Greek play (Such as Oedipus Rex) A collection of Chinese proverbs |

Annotated Webliography |
You complete your research question, list of credible sources, and appropriate annotations. (All is based on literary reading) |
|
Research |
You will become an expert on the selected cultural aspect surrounding your literary selection. To prove your expertise to Mrs. Hodits, you will provide Mrs. Hodits with a research packet, Works Cited, and written element. The written element will be used at your presentation and will contain parenthetical citations. You must explore book, online databases, and credible Web sites. |

Presentation |
You will prepare an interactive twenty-five minute presentation. Your presentation must include a technical and visual component. Your presentation will display your knowledge of the cultural component and its connection to the literary pieces you chose. |
|
Speaking |
You must be polished and professional. You must be clear, enthusiastic and motivated regarding your topic. |
|
Technical |
You will provide a technical component to your presentation. This technical component will enhance your presentation and could be a Web site, PowerPoint, interactive game, etc. |
|
Writing |
You will provide a written pamphlet, brochure, flyer, or other handout. This handout will provide additional evidence to your audience of your research and expertise. The handout must include parenthetical citations from your research notes. |
